GMDC’s bauxite mines in Kutch and Devbhoomi Dwarka form an essential part of India’s aluminium journey, ensuring that this critical mineral is sourced responsibly, closer to home.
In FY 2023–24, GMDC produced over 2 lakh metric tonnes of high-quality bauxite, contributing to the nation’s industrial ecosystem while reducing dependence on imports. Our customer base continues to grow across multiple sectors that depend on consistent, quality mineral input.
To improve efficiency and sustainability, GMDC is investing in new beneficiation facilities that will enhance the quality of plant-grade and non-plant-grade bauxite. These upcoming plants will enable more efficient use of available reserves—ensuring more value, less waste, and better long-term outcomes.
