We also invest heavily in the future of talent through our Young Leaders Program (YLP) —a gateway for bright minds from IIMs, IITs, NITs and other premier institutes to enter core functions such as mining, geology, environment and engineering. With structured onboarding and project-based rotations, YLP professionals are mentored into leadership roles that align with GMDC’s long-term vision. In FY 2024–25 alone, we aim to onboard 60 new Young Leaders as part of this growing leadership pipeline.
Simultaneously, we have tripled our focus on training and development—delivering over 24,000 hours of upskilling across technical, statutory, behavioural and leadership domains. These learning modules are designed to build cross-functional agility, accelerate role-readiness and prepare teams for the challenges of tomorrow.
