GMDC holds exclusive rights to all manganese-bearing areas in Gujarat, with deposits located across Panchmahal, Vadodara and Dahod districts. Key sites include the villages of Shivrajpur, Bamankuva, Bapotiya, Pani and Salapada.
In addition to active exploration, GMDC also extracts manganese from legacy waste dumps in these regions—further strengthening the state’s mineral supply.
GMDC’s presence in Gujarat’s manganese belt ensures a steady pipeline of this essential input to downstream industries such as construction, automotive and infrastructure.
