GMDC proposes to undertake progressive development, exploration of unexplored areas, diversion of surface features, operate the Mata No Madh Lignite Mine, deliver Lignite to GMDC and achieve Mine Closer by appointing a Mine Developer cum Operator (MDO) as per Scope of Work detailed in this tender document. The MDO shall be appointed for opencast mining and other associated activities as mentioned in this tender document. The 3rd revised Mining and Mine Closure Plan for peak rated capacity 4.8 MTPA is in process of approval. Appointed MDO shall be responsible for approval of the same.
